Very fine coffee table with a rectilinear “Parson table”-type form, featuring a top in an extraordinary cut of figurative burl, and a mahogany frame, with a “frieze” design encircling the apron in the form of a chain of circles and rectangles inlaid in macassar ebony, exhibiting a very high standard of execution all around, likely a custom one-off design, Sweden, 1920s.
