“Sphère” coffee table by Jean Royère

Exquisite “Sphère” coffee table by Jean Royère (1902-1981), having a round travertine top supported by an apron and three “Sphère” motif legs (globes of meridians with a angled looping circle) in gilded iron mounted on disk feet in travertine, France, designed circa 1950. The frame is in excellent original condition with a handsome subtle patina to the gilding; travertine top/feet are original and in excellent condition.
