Manner of Claudius Linossier
Very fine Art Deco table lamp in the manner of Claudius Linossier (1893-1953), having a classic tapered base decorated with a magnificent African savannah scene depicting a female and male lion rendered in dinanderie technique metalwork in silver, olive green, and browns, France, 1920s. (Dinanderie is a metalwork technique dating from the Middle Ages involving hammering oxides into a copper base and heating to develop very attractive coloration.)
