Table lamp from “Camouflage” series designed by Daniel Folkmann Andersen (1885-1959) for Michael Andersen & Sons, having an undulating pedestal form, with the surface decorated using a network of distinctive piped slip “cloisons” applied in an organic, cloud-like pattern, evoking both the camouflage of WWI and the modeling style of designer Thorvald Bindesboll, with fields glazed in yellow, blue and green applied with radiating strokes, hand-thrown earthenware, Denmark, 1916-1920, marked by impression “MA&S” and “1358” / #MAS101
