Architect Carlos Aparicio’s light-filled residence on the south shore of Long Island contains a restrained modern sensibility within a 1930s Jeffersonian style exterior. After a complete internal renovation, the interiors have classical proportions and visual axes with an open plan and understated luxurious finishes like white oak, Venetian plaster and marble. The timeless interiors are an elegant backdrop for an evolving collection of 20th century antiques. Included in the display are iconic pieces by Jean Royère, Jean-Michel Frank, Gilbert Poillerat, Kaare Klint, Marc duPlantier, and André Arbus.
Founder of BAC, and principal of Aparicio + Associates, Carlos Aparicio is renowned for creating considered and sophisticated environments with the highest standards of execution.
