Gustavian inspired “Ulriksdal” series chest / secretaire by Carl Malmsten (1888-1972) for Nordiska Kompaniet, having  a three-drawer chest on sabered feet with fold-out desk with storage nooks on top, decorated with ridged bands and ornament, and swag pulls; mahogany; Sweden, 1920s; maker tag numbered “2912R” (Malmsten developed this series after winning a commission held by Prince Gustaf VI Adolf to furnish the Ulriksdal Palace in 1924)
